News for American Express cardholders
From 23 June 2008, American Express cardholders in Sweden will be able to transfer their Membership Rewards points to Scandic and use them for free nights at all our hotels.
6 Membership Rewards points equal 1 Scandic point.
You have to be a member of our frequent guest programme to transfer points. If you’re not a member, you can
sign up here.
Book a free night with your Membership Rewards points:
Log onto our website using your Scandic membership number and PIN/password. Then click on the “Reward night” tab in the booking screen and search for the date and hotel you want to book. The screen will show you whether that hotel has any rooms available for a free night. It will also tell you how many points your reward night will cost.
Remember that the number of points required at a hotel can vary depending on your choice of date. A list of all our hotels can be viewed here,
Use points.
Then log onto
www.americanexpress/rewards and transfer your points, or contact Membership Rewards on +46 (0)771-29 55 00.
It can take up to 10 days for your points to be transferred. You can easily check your points balance here on our website and book your reward night as described above, once the points have reached your Scandic membership account.
