When you want a more indulgent and flexible meeting environment, our Think Tank rooms are an effective alternative. They are ideal for all types of small meetings and conferences and encourage new thinking.

Inventive people are behind the meeting room

Scandic has developed Think Tank rooms together with students from Konstfack (the University College of Arts, Craft and Design) in Stockholm and SIS Ecolabelling. Our wish list included contemporary design, innovation and environmental consideration. The result was a flexible meeting room for all the senses – a meeting room that affects your mood positively and increases creativity and learning. 

Feel free to move the furniture

Holding a meeting in a Think Tank allows you to change the room around during the day. The conference table can be divided up. You can easily move your own section of the table around. The Edgar chair is also easy to move and ergonomically designed for comfort in several different positions. The Discus lamp has a dimmer switch, so you can easily adjust the lighting to create different moods in the room.

A roll of paper and the latest technology make things easier

Wireless Internet access is included. The LCD projector is built into the conference table. There is also a multifunction whiteboard. You control all the technology from a single control panel. And when you need to get your ideas down on paper, simply pull out the room's roll of large-format drawing paper. This is a simple, effective and fun way of getting results.

Spice things up with waves and birdsong

Take the opportunity to boost the meeting with sound and light. Project a seascape and start the day to the sound of waves or surround yourself with forest and birdsong. The rooms vary in appearance at all our hotels. They have different features such as an aquarium or plants to create harmony.
