Scandic Potsdamer Platz, Berlin
opens February 2010
The new hotel will have 572 rooms, restaurants and conference facilities. Its central location on Potsdamer Platz in the German capital puts the hotel within easy reach of good communications, exiting shopping and entertainment.
Scandic Khimki
, Moscow opens 2010
In partnership with IKEA, Scandic is planning to build a new 300-room hotel in Khimki Business Park in Moscow. In 2008, work gets underway and the hotel will be the first step in Scandic's Russian expansion. Facilities will include a conference centre, restaurants and a fitness centre.
Scandic Kista
opens autumn 2009
The new city centre hotel will be built in glass with a modern design and technology. Scandic Kista in Sweden will have 400 rooms on 30 floors, restaurants, a relaxation and fitness centre and congress facilities for up to 500 people.
Scandic Karlskrona
opens 2010
The new hotel will be centrally located by the waterside in Karlskrona, close to the sports arena, Fisktorget and the shopping district. The new Scandic Karlskrona hotel will have 180 rooms, conference facilities, a fitness centre and a restaurant and bar.
Scandic Oslo Airport
opens end of 2009
The new Norwegian hotel will be located west of the airport and a shuttle bus to the airport will take 6 minutes. The hotel will have 250 rooms, a restaurant, bar, fitness centre and conference facilities for up to 850 people. Construction will start in August 2008.
Scandic Stavanger
opens autumn 2009
Construction of Scandic Stavanger in the Norwegian "capital of oil" will start in 2008. The hotel will have a central location at Forus, close to shopping and dining. The new hotel will have 200 rooms, a restaurant, bar and meeting facilities for up to 500 people.
Scandic Haugesund opens autumn 2009
The new Scandic Haugesund hotel will enjoy an attractive location in peaceful surroundings in the heart of Haugesund, Norway. Only a short distance from the quayside area, it will be a modern, full-service hotel with a restaurant, bar and meeting facilities for up to 320 people.

Scandic Vulkan, Oslo opens January 2010
The new hotel will enjoy an attractive location in Vulkan, on the Akerselva river just a stone's throw from Grünerløkka, in an area which is already home to a number of cultural institutions and creative colleges. The hotel will be a modern hotel with 140 rooms, a restaurant and bar, as well as conference facilities.
Scandic Bodø
opens 2010
The construction of the new Scandic Bodø hotel in Norway will start in 2008. The hotel will be perfectly located in the central port area and have 220 rooms, covering 11 000 sqm, a restaurant, bar and conference facilities for up to 800 guests.
Scandic Århus City
opens June 2010
In the beginning of 2009, the construction of the new Scandic Århus City hotel will start. The city of Århus, Denmark's second largest city, is situated in eastern Jutland. The hotel will have 226 rooms, conference facilities, bar/restaurant, fitness centre and garage.
