Welcome to Malmö and Scandic

Here in southern Sweden, you'll find lively city centres, beautiful broadleaf forests, culture and architecture. The Öresund Bridge links the region to Denmark.

Malmö is Sweden's third-largest city, situated on the Öresund strait, connected directly by bridge to Copenhagen. You can look forward to everything from the impressive skyscraper Turning Torso and the long beaches of Ribersborg, to quaint shopping streets and fine art museums. The centre of Malmö has pedestrian streets, old half-timbered houses and market squares, making it an attractive city centre for exploring on foot. You choose between three Scandic hotels in Malmö. Scandic Kramer hotel by Stortorget, Scandic St:Jörgen by Gustav Adolfs square and Scandic Segevång by Malmö Burlöv Golf course.

Attractions in Malmö

Staying at a Scandic in Malmö puts you within easy reach of a wide range of sights. Malmö has a flourishing cultural and entertainment scene in the centre, and you can enjoy horse riding or golfing just outside the city. Scandic Segevång is located next to Malmö Burlövs Golf course. The brave can enjoy a dip in the two cold saltwater swimming pools, each with piers that stretch out over the strait. One is located on the two-kilometre long sandy beach at Ribersborg. This saltwater pool dates back to 1898 and has a wood-fired sauna and a café. Visit the water park Aq-va-kul, just minutes from the Scandic St:Jörgen hotel, or enjoy one of the many outdoor pools at Segevångsbadet by the Scandic Segevång hotel. Also don't miss a round trip on the Rundan canal boat, the City hall and the colourful Möllevångstorget, close to the Scandic Kramer hotel.
