When you stay at a Scandic, you will be within easy reach of most of Copenhagen's attractions. Enjoy shopping at the Illum department store or the excitement of the Tivoli amusement park. Rådhusplatsen is a good place to start your trip around Copenhagen. Nearby you'll find both the Scandic Copenhagen and the Scandic Webers hotels. On a clear day, you can climb to the top of the City Hall tower for fantastic views. Don't miss the new Opera House on Holmen close to Scandic Sydhavnen or Copenhagen Zoo, which is located right next to Scandic Glostrup.

Great shopping

Shopping in Copenhagen is great fun. The city is dotted with creative designers and craftspeople in small studios and boutiques. The main shopping street of Strøget is, of course, unmissable. The Scandic Webers hotel is located on Vesterbrogade only a few minutes walk away. South of Strøget you'll find Scandic Copenhagen and the lovely streets of Læderstæde and Kompagnistræde, with their cafés, designer boutiques and antique shops. By the shopping mall Fisketorvet you'll find Scandic Sydhavnen and next to the Scandic Eremitage hotel you'll find Lyngby, the second largest shopping mall in the city.

Culture and architecture

The city's cultural life is exciting all year round, and its architecture is a mixture of thousand-year-old buildings and modern creations. Close to the Opera and the Glyptoteket is the Scandic Copenhagen hotel. Copenhagen's old "bridge districts" are undergoing an exciting regeneration. Vesterbro, Nørrebro, Østerbro and Islands Brygge are bursting with energy. Buildings are being renovated and architecturally daring buildings are springing up. Many young and switched on people live here, and are naturally helping to breathe new life into the old districts. Our hotel Scandic Webers is a short walk into Vesterbrogade.
