You always receive at least 2,000 points

It should be easy to earn points and quick to get something for them. At Scandic, you'll always earn 2,000 points per qualifying night right from the start. That means that you can earn enough for a free night after staying just five nights at the 1st floor level. You’ll also receive a fixed number of extra points from the second tier level up.

Extra points per tier level

In addition to your 2,000 points, you'll receive the following extra points per night:
1st floor – no extra points
2nd floor – 300 extra points
3rd floor – 500 extra points
Top floor – 1,000 extra points

Your points are valid for three years

Your points are always valid for at least three years, sometimes up to a whole year extra. When you book a free night, we always deduct your oldest points first, so that your points last as long as possible. If you're unable to take out your points, after three years they will cease to be valid. Points transferred from membership in Hilton HHonors are valid up until 31 December 2012.

What is a qualifying night?

A qualifying night is any night booked at a rate quoted here at scandichotels.com. However, not all rates received by booking direct with the hotel or via Scandic Reservation and Customer Service qualify for points. For example, you cannot earn points on discounted bookings or when you take out your free nights. There are only a few exceptions, which that you can read more about under Terms & Conditions.
